One of Herbert Hoovers few slogans that he claimed as his own was ‘Vote for prosperity’ meaning that he would focus on making the world prosperous and that the side effects and action of World War I would not happen again.

Al Smiths slogan was  ‘ Anything un-american Cannot live in the sunlight’. And this combined with his other promises meant that he would make it so that America would be strong enough to stand on its own. And as a ‘wet’ candidate ( anti-prohibition) he had also promised to stop the prohibition of sales on certain items. (such as alcohol, etc. )

LET'S VOTE!

We've recently in the New Era. An Era where the citizens of America had a lot of confidence. Everyone had high hopes and only thought the economy could only prosper. Herbert Hoover ran against Democrat Al Smith in the 1928 presidential election.
